So you have arrived at the Station in Jindabyne for SMIEC! Welcome!
Now what … ?
On arrival at the Station, everyone is required to check in to the Reception building. If you have booked accommodation, then you will be able to sign in and get your keys and directions to your cabin. You should also collect a map of the venue, a plan of the stable and yard bookings, and an EA waiver form that must be completed and handed to the event office, unless you have already returned this via email.
Please then proceed to the stable area or the build your own yard area to get your horses settled.
Please follow the directions on your map to the relevant area. Pre-ordered shavings have been placed in stables and yards, and extra bags can be purchased from the event office.
Information about the One Day Event and Combined Training should be collected by your team manager from the event office on Friday or on Saturday morning.
The cross-country course will be open for walking from 2:30pm on Friday and will close by 11:00am on Saturday.
Team managers should check in to the event office on Friday and then we will conduct a team managers’ meeting at 6:30pm following the presentations on Saturday, Sunday and Monday evenings in the Bistro.
Feed orders from Cooma Rural will be delivered to the ground on Friday afternoon and can be collected from the event office.
